Photographer Christopher Marocco
Born Christopher Marocco in the 70's, son of a Preacher Man. His first taste of culture was his birth place, Manila, Philippines. Raised on the beautiful Island of Maui, Hawaii. Christopher spent most of childhood playing soccer, surfing and fighting with his younger brother. He spent many,many hours under the church pews, drawing race cars, waves and airplanes. His attention to detail and eye for realism was evident in his art, even at an early age. Growing up in Hawaii gave Christopher an appreciation for culture and family. His passion for travel was passed down to him by his parents, through their numerous missionary trips oversees he was able to experience the history and culture of many different countries. He continues to travel as much as possible, recently traveling to ten different countries in eleven months working as a staff photographer for large scale production team. His love of travel is only matched by his passion for photography. Christopher's photographic journey started at the age of twenty two when he got a job working for a custom photography lab. Starting at the bottom and learning all the basics it wasn't long before he was promoted to head printer and color specialist. With the opportunity to print the works of Hawaii's best photographers and artist he developed an eye for light, color and composition. Christopher started off his photography career on the tranquil shores of Maui shooting small beach weddings but most recently calls the wine country of Napa California his home. His love for all aspects of photography has him shooting, in his words. " People, Places and Things " With clients ranging from the Fairmont Mission Inn & Spa to Ocean Potion suntan lotion, Christopher's dedication to capturing the perfect light, love and harmony continues to delight.
